London’s “Goddess of Rhythm” Karen Nyame KG lays down futuristic afro club sounds.
From tearing down the house at Primavera Sound Festival with her iconic Boiler Room set, to collaborations with the likes of PinkPantheress, UNIIQU3, and Kelela, the UK based artist is one to watch in 2024.
If you’re not already in the know, Karen Nyame KG is a DJ, producer and vocalist who is well on her way to becoming a global star with her stand out releases on the likes of Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label and Black Acre Records, as well as her recently launched imprint Rhythm In The City.
With a sound that encompasses Afro-House, UK Funky, Jersey Club and South African Gqom, amongst African polyrhythms, low-end sub basses, and energetic drum patterns, KG's been tapped for mixes by tastemakers all over the world including BBC 1Xtra, NTS And Dekmantel.
